“Classic” & “Gravity” wine cellar – Castle in Mozelle 2024

EA magnificent 18th-century historic building in the Moselle countryside, with a number of centuries-old cellars, one of which we were asked to convert into a wine cellar adjoining a tasting room, to host the castle’s finest bottles… A great challenge and, in the end, a successful marriage of the old and the new.

Special features

The old stones certainly have a lot of character, but the vaulted ceilings and irregular cladding required meticulous work to integrate the bay window and the various other furniture elements.

In addition to the 4 ‘Gravity’ displays housed behind the magnificent arched steel bay window, the rest of the furnishings consist mainly of our ‘Classic’ shelving units for optimum storage capacity, as well as a central island with an oak worktop . This is complemented by side shelves for large formats, into which the refrigeration system for the room is integrated.
